The poetic, the soulful, the multi-talented, the beautiful Jill Scott released her fifth studio album this past Friday. The album is simply titled, Woman. That word alone says everything, right? A woman represents growing from a girl, to a lady and now a WOMAN! Yes, Jill Scott. Jill did not say that was the representation of her album, I’m just adding my two cents, ha! 🙂

Included on the album is the chart-topping, lead single, Fool’s Gold. We’ve all come to love Jill so much since her multi-platinum debut album in 2000, Who is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. I was in my senior year of high school and remember my best friend (who is a die hard neo-soul fan) told me about Ms. Scott and I was blown away by her poetic talent.
