She sings. She acts. She is a businesswoman.
Grammy award and NAACP Image award winner, Brandy Norwood, is a triple threat and she is ready to appear on your TV screens again.
The Chicago starlet is set to star in a co-executive produce a comedy on BET, called ‘Zoe Ever After.’ We know Norwood is no stranger to the TV screens – she was the star in the UPN comedy series, ‘Moesha’ (I loved that show growing up – “MO to the E to the…”), and the BET drama-comedy, ‘The Game’.
According to Deadline, here is the premise of the show:
Zoe Ever After centers on Zoe Moon (Norwood), a newly single mom stepping out of the shadow of her famous boxer ex-husband Gemini Moon (Missick) while trying to balance dating, motherhood, a complicated relationship with her ex and finally fulfilling her career dream of starting a cosmetics line. Gordon plays her 8-year-old son Xavier; Smith is Valenté, her fashion-forward and fun assistant; Wood plays Pearl, her publicist and best friend; and Serricchio is sexy contractor Miguel.
