According to Equal Pay Today:
“Equal Pay Day for ALL Women should be on December 31, but it’s not. The average woman must work far into the next year to earn what the average man earns the previous year.”
Before you proceed, please note: This is NOT a sponsored post. I am a champion for women’s empowerment and I want to see us prosper!
Every year, we reach a symbolic day called Equal Pay Day to represent the day that women will have made the same amount of money men made in the previous year.
April 10, 2018 marked the day that women made what men made in December 31, 2017.
And for us black & brown girls, we don’t see our Equal Pay Day until the summer!
How does that make you feel?
You go to work everyday doing the same tasks and duties as your male counterpart does – and he makes MORE!
While there are levels of awareness brought to this issue (i.e., the Women’s March – so epic!), but WHAT is a promising, permanent solution?
Nothing will happen unless we step up and do something about it.
The good news is…there IS a solution! But, you have to be willing to do the work.
Join me and thousands of other fed-up women as we take the pledge to Earn More Money!
Your action to this movement is required.
Yes, there is a such-a-movement of this magnitude and the movement is growing and growing! You can check the facts, baby!
The Earn More Money movement was founded and is led by America’s Money Maven, Patrice C. Washington.
Patrice is a entrepreneur, certified financial expert, financial coach, and a best-selling author dedicated to helping women financially transform their lives from debt management to money mastery.
She’s known as the money maven of both The Steve Harvey radio & TV show giving realistic financial advice to women and couples in need of guidance.
Her raw approach to helping women find wealth is God-given.
She earned a business degree from the University of Southern California, but it was her life-altering experiences that captured my heart. When life happened to Patrice, she used her God-given talents to escape her struggles and now she is unapologetically taking the world by storm.
As you move further into the movement, you will notice how she is openly transparent about her financial struggles, especially during the recession in 2008.
Let’s get into this actionable movement, shall we?
