There is nothing like the strength of a woman.
Biologically, a man may be physically stronger than a woman, but a woman is definitely emotionally stronger, in my opinion.
One of the women, who we have all come to admire for her strength, is the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.
Mary J. Blige relives her pain through the artistry – writing and singing powerful ballads that any woman of strength can surely relate to.
After releasing the hit single, Thick of It, in November 2016, the Grammy award winner is back again, but, this time, with a full blown album.
The 14-track album, Strength of a Woman, is comprised of hurt, pain and revelations as a result of an unfortunate divorce from her ex and former manager.
Blige’s 13th LP includes collaborations with Kanye West, DJ Khaled, Missy Elliott and more.
The album will be available on 4/28.
In addition to the album’s release, Blige is taking her fans on her journey of the making of the album.
Tune into the VH1 special documentary of Making of: Strength of a Woman, which is set to premiere May 2 @ 11/10c . Watch the trailer:
Time to #XpressYourself – what do you think about the album’s title and the documentary trailer? Do you think women endure more strength than a man emotionally?
