Hi, I’m Veronica and I am a proud, curvy woman! I have always embraced my curves and I love my bawdy!
Recently, during the 2017 Emmy Awards, Lane Bryant showed a new 30-second spot for their #ImNoAngel campaign.
In the commercial, the plus size retail giant features voluptuous, curvy women showing off and embracing their bodies along with their declarations of body imperfections.
The women confidently talk about their love handles, stretch marks, and cellulite.
Here’s the goal of this campaign:
3 little words. 19 billion media impressions. 1 world changed forever. Now we’re back, sharing our stories and breaking down stereotypes until all women and young girls see themselves as beautiful.

While some people believe this commercial promotes an unhealthy lifestyle, I think it promotes self-esteem and self-love.
Realistically, there are some women who are naturally thick and is as healthy as a horse. While there are smaller women who are not so healthy.
As for me, I am naturally thick and in order to be healthier, I need to get back into a more healthy lifestyle. As you can see from my previous fitness posts, I have always promoted a healthy lifestyle and also promote being confident and staying empowered with positive energy.
Once I’m at my ideal weight, I’ll still be, “thicker than a Snicker!” Boom!
